Array port uses a 15 pin, high density connector to connect a monitor to a PC. Originally, the acronym VGA, referred to graphics displays of 640 x 480, however, with the advent of Super-VGA (SVGA) and other similar terms, it came to be used as a generic term for the monitor connector port on a PC.
